GE Washer model S3700

GE Washer model S3700 This model has 16 cycles and three speeds. The controls are fairly basic, and the machine does not have many advanced features.

This is a top loading model, and it has both a liquid bleach dispenser and a fabric softener dispenser accessible when you open the lid. One feature I thought was unique was that the fabric softener dispenser is on top of the agitator. White is the only color that I could find this washer in.

The washer is competent at its job of washing clothes. I have never had any problems with clothes not getting clean, even if I accidentally set the water level one level below where I should, so the agitator must work well.

This can also be a problem, however, if you tend to put too much soap in your wash because the agitation will cause the soap to foam up and out of the machine, leaving a sticky mess on your floor. Also, it will occasionally become unbalanced during the spin cycle, but this is not frequent. One small problem that I noticed is that it takes in cold water very slowly.

If you wash you clothes in only cold water to save on hot water bills then it could take you a while to finish all of your laundry. This machine is an inexpensive model, and has proven to be a good value.
