I bought this washer about two years ago at Home Depot because the salesman highly recommended it. He said he bought it for his wife and I'm sure glad he suggested it. I haven't had any troubles with this machine and I usually have to get my machine repaired after having it for only a year. I do a lot of laundry and so I wear my machines out pretty quickly.
I love that you can choose between three wash and spin combinations and set the water temperature. It is really easy to use and you can even set it to the type of fabric you are washing. I was always confused about my clothing care, but GE has made it easy for users by placing a little reminder chart under the lid of the washing machine.
This washer is pretty quiet and you hardly notice it is on. I do notice it a bit during the spin cycle, but I don't mind because it just reminds me to add in my softener. There is a compartment for softener in the middle of the machine that automatically dispenses softener, but I prefer to put it in myself. I love that I can also choose to do a second rinse to get out that extra soap I put in my blankets.
