GE Front loading HydroHeater

by Michele
(Benton, Arkansas)

I bought this washer about a year ago. This is by far the best washer I have ever owned. It is very quiet and very efficient. It has a large load capacity. I have even washed my comforter in it with no problems.

There are several different soil levels as well as different temperatures including a sanitizinf option.

There are several different modes such as whites, colors, gentle, stains etc. It is very quiet and my clothes have never been cleaner. It also has a place for both liquid or dry detergents as well as a place to add fabric softener to be dispensed at the appropriate time during the cycle.

I absolutely love this washer and sorry I didn't purchase it sooner.

It's Worthless
by: Anonymous

I agree with those who are disappointed in the GE Hydroheater. It gets good marks from consumer panels. But, it goes off balance to the point where you have to make service calls to re-balance it. Once the warranty is up, you have to pay for those service calls. Very disappointing. It can't even wash a set of queen sheets without having a problem, just 1 set!

Hydroheater a piece of garbage
by: Anonymous

I have owned this washer since July, 2009. In the past, I've owned Kenmore, Whirlpool & LG. Save your money. This washer can't handle washing more that a few towels at a time before it spins itself off it's own axis. I have had GE out to service this washer 5 times due to off balance problems. Piece of garbage, don't buy it.

within the first two months had to have a repair man come to fix the major water leak due to objects from the wash made it to the plastic drain tube. know a little over a year later it will not spin during a normal wash cycle have to put on drain and spin ever time a load of cloth is done.

Our HydroHeather is horrid
by: Anonymous

If I put more than 3 towels in ours the washload comes out SOPPING wet. I'm so disappointed in this washer. There's no way I can put a large capacity of clothes in it. Maybe something is wrong with is but it's really been a disappointment.
