Durabrand Steam Iron Model SI-80

This is the iron I currently have and have been using for years with zero issues. I bought it for next to nothing (under $20.00) at my local Wal-Mart. I was not picky and just wanted the cheapest Iron I could find, as I do not use it very often at all. I only use this iron to apply iron-on transfers to T-shirts. It works great for this. I do not own any clothing that requires ironing really, so that is why I bought the cheapest iron I could find.
This Iron does come with some nice features for the price though. It comes with a spray button, temperature indicator light, heel rest, large water reservoir, fabric/temperature select dial, soleplate, easy-to-fill water tank, adjustable steam dial, and steam vents to name a few. It allows you to choose between synthetic, silk, wool, cotton, and linen fabric on the setting dial. Its also VERY lightweight and fits nicely/comfortably in your hand for use. I like the fact that it does not have a lot of bells and whistles and is just really basic, as I feel that makes a better appliance as there is less to break when it is just straight forward.
I would recommend this iron to anyone who does not have to iron very often or just wants a simple iron that is cheap and easy to use. If you are wanting the best and newest, or wanting a lot of features and buttons or digital anything, this is NOT the iron for you. I also can not speak for its quality if you use it often, as I have not used it that much, even though I have had it for a number of years.
Overall, I am very happy with this iron and would buy it again for sure. For what I need it for it works great and fulfills my needs perfectly. I do not know if it is the iron I would choose if I was a person that actually ironed their clothing though, as it may be too basic for that and also may not last very long with long-term use, as it is very cheap.
