Dryer Sheets dotn't work well with towels

I've found that using dryer sheets when drying towels will cause the towels to repel water instead of absorb it. Use liquid fabric softener on towels.

Don't use any fabric softener on towels
by: Anonymous

When my dryer broke I began drying my towels on the line. They were rough so I began adding more fabric softener. BIG MISTAKE!! My towels were softer but the build up started to make them much less absorbent and a little bit greasy feeling. I searched the internet for the answer and found out vinegar and hot water will help soften towels. After several washing this way my towels are now a lot softer and much more absorbent. Line drying makes them fresher.

My mom told me this a long time ago and I didn't really believe her or understand why you shouldn't put those dryer sheets in. Now I know, thanks!
