I purchased the Black and Decker light and easy iron about four years ago and it is still going strong considering how old it is. I would give this iron a 4 out of 5 rating. The things that I like about this iron is that it does get your clothes nice and straight and it gives your pants the best creases. It also gets hot on a very low setting which is good because you don’t have to worry about burning up your clothes. The things that I don’t like about the iron are that the plastic part on the outer part of the iron broke off early on in the use of the iron. The Black and Decker Iron is great because it lets me iron a batch of clothing and it still gives my clothing the crispness from beginning to end. The one thing I noticed is that it doesn’t give off a foul odor like some irons do, and it only spurts out steam when you press the steam button, it is great because it stays on a setting that you choose until you move the lever to change it, it doesn’t adjust without your knowledge like some irons do. The other thing I like about this iron is that you can put a little bit of water in the water channel and it still gives you enough steam, unlike some other irons where you have to fill up the water chamber all the way to the top fill line in order to get some any kind of steam to be released from the iron which is annoying because when you over fill the water chamber the water starts to leak out of the iron and leak onto your clothing.
