Aspirins in the wash

by inspector
(GA)

Some one once told me that aspirins have a variety of uses. When I do my whites I drop a couple of aspirins into the wash, it helps remove some stains like sweat stains. It is safer than bleach. Since over use of bleach can damage your whites. And I always wash with cold water.

If your whites are turning grey, use vinegar in the last wash.

Brilliant!

Conventionally, one would limit his/her thinking that bleaching formula, oxalic acids, and/or chlorine are the answer to tough cloth stains. But this one is different. Aspirin? Who would have thought that it would work? Thanks!

Aspirins in the wash

I have never heard of this one but I am going to give it a try. I will be doing a load of whites today. I really hope this works because I hate putting bleach in with my whites since it eats away at the clothes.
