Adjust the water volume to match the load size

by Ben
(Spokane, WA)

It's very important to make the adjustment on water volume each time you put in a new load. It is an awful waste to have the maximum amount of water pouring into the machine, when you are only washing a few items. This method will save gallons of water every load.

I agree

I agree with the adjusting the water level and detergent amount. By adjusting the water level you wont be wasting a lot of water. It doesnt make since to fill up a washing machine with water for a small load. What also saves is washing once a week with few big loads than with a hundred little loads.

Adjust size

This is a great idea. I always change the load size according to the amount of clothes that I am washing. It's also important to adjust the amount of deterget. Thanks for the tip.
